Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Safeway Holdings (Alberta) Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms, common areas, and facilities. This includes sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, as well as vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and tidy space
  • Make beds and change sheets to provide a comfortable and clean sleeping area for guests
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to ensure guests have everything they need
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to ensure a safe and clean ride for guests
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure guests can locate their belongings
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items to provide excellent customer service
  • Provide basic information on facilities to guests to ensure they have a smooth and enjoyable stay
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and tidy environment
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to ensure a clean and hygienic environment
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns to provide excellent customer service
