Vigi Santé is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Nutrition Specialist to provide exceptional care to our elderly residents.

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional well-being of our residents. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized nutrition plans that meet their individual needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans for elderly residents, taking into account their specific dietary requirements and health conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Provide nutritional counseling and education to residents and their families on healthy eating habits and disease management.
  • Monitor residents' nutritional status and make adjustments to care plans as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in geriatric nutrition and swallowing disorders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in dietetics or a related field.
  • Registered with the Quebec Dietitians' Professional Order.
  • Experience working with elderly populations, preferably in a long-term care setting.
  • Strong understanding of geriatric nutrition principles and swallowing disorders.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
