About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpentry Contractor to join our team at Satonying Management Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of carpenters and labourers in various construction projects, including custom work, renovations, and historical restorations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 3-4 carpenters and labourers in construction projects
  • Prepare production and other reports to track project progress
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure team members have the necessary skills
  • Set up equipment and establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform manual labour and work in a fast-paced environment
