About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to join our team at Canada Workday ULC. As a key member of our software development team, you will have the opportunity to design, develop, and deliver complex software solutions using your expertise in software engineering, architecture, and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale enterprise software applications using industry-standard object-oriented tools and technologies.
  • Architect and implement software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, reliable, and efficient software code using object-oriented design patterns and principles.
  • Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and other software development best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Mentor and guide junior software developers to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve software development processes and outcomes.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced software development professional with a strong background in software engineering, architecture, and development. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 8+ years of experience as a software engineer or application development engineer.
  • 5+ years of experience in object-oriented design and development languages such as Java, Scala, C#, Xpresso, and XML technology.
  • Experience in building large-scale enterprise business applications, preferably in the financial sector.
  • Experience working with performance logs, metadata-driven development, and agile methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

What We Offer
