Diesel Mechanic

Total Site Services Ltd. is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. You will diagnose faults using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required. Your duties will also include ordering parts, maintaining inventory, adjusting equipment, and repairing or replacing defective parts. Additionally, you will be responsible for keeping maintenance reports and documentation, testing repaired equipment for proper performance, and ensuring that work meets manufacturers' specifications. You will also clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work, as well as service attachments and working tools. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a physically demanding environment will be essential in this role. You will be working with heavy trucks and must be able to verify and repair emission control systems. The ideal candidate will have 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role and be a team player with dependability and reliability.
