We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Room Attendant to join our team at the Coast Discovery Inn in Campbell River. As a Room Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a memorable experience.
Job Summary:The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and hallways. This involves performing daily cleaning tasks, restocking amenities, and ensuring that all areas meet the highest standards of hygiene and tidiness.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities.
- Clean and sanitize public areas, such as hallways, lobbies, and common spaces.
- Restock supplies, including towels, soaps, and literature, to ensure adequate supply for arriving guests.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and wall hangings to maintain a high level of cleanliness and aesthetic appeal.
- Strip and remake beds with fresh linens, and check closets for cleanliness and organization.
- Vacuum and clean hard floor areas, including linoleum, tile, and carpeted areas.
- Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous attitude, providing excellent customer service to guests and colleagues.
- Physical mobility and stamina to perform duties efficiently and effectively.
- Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products, and operation of standard cleaning equipment.
- Able to take direction and follow instructions, requirements, and regulations.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Competitive hourly rate: $19.00-$21.00 per hour.
- Sign-in bonus of $200 after 3 months.
- Salary increase of $1 after probation.

We offer a competitive salary range of $19.00-$21.00 per hour, based on location and experience.
