Retail Store Sales Associate Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Store Sales Associate to join our team at Dulux / Betonel. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers and contractors, and driving sales growth in our retail store.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on paint and supply products, including assessing their needs and making recommendations.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new products and promotions.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive store environment, ensuring that customers feel welcome and valued.
  • Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Proven sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Strong product knowledge and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as required.
