About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at HUB International Canada West ULC (Canada West). As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of construction projects and providing technical expertise to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site reviews of residential construction projects to ensure compliance with quality standards and building codes.
  • Evaluate the quality of construction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to builders, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with our claims department to provide technical expertise and support during the claims process.
  • Travel to construction sites within the regional area to conduct site reviews and inspections.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in residential construction industry.
  • 1-3 years of home warranty related experience would be an asset.
  • Canadian Home Inspector certificate from an accredited institution would be an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction procedures, methods, techniques, and building codes.
  • Ability to learn inspection-related software and use Microsoft office products.
  • A strong knowledge of provincial work safe requirements.
  • The ability to drive and maintain a valid driver's license in good standing is mandatory.
