About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Project Director to lead our Transit Infrastructure practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multi-disciplinary teams and overseeing the development and growth of our transit/rail practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead project teams for preliminary and detail design transit facility projects for municipal clients.
  2. Manage all aspects of project management, including team management, budgeting, scheduling, quality control, and client satisfaction.
  3. Interface with GHD Design and design teams, potentially located internationally.
  4. Review shop drawings and attend construction sites as required.
  5. Prepare and administer project budgets.
  6. Liaise with clients and participate in business development activities.
Requirements:
  1. P. Eng or Registered Architect in Ontario.
  2. PMP certification (or working towards).
  3. Experience working for Regional Municipalities or Local Transit Agencies.
  4. 15+ years of project management experience on multi-discipline engineering teams with experience in transit facilities, rail, stations, electrification, and signaling.
  5. Project delivery experience in alternate project delivery methods (P3, DB, PDB) and teaming arrangements with contractors and consultants.
Reporting Structure:

This role reports to the Rail and Transit Lead in Ontario.
