About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team at S.P.R. MASONRY INC. as a Construction Craftsman. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and renovating various structures using masonry techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construction and Repair: Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, or other masonry units to build or repair structures.
  • Installation and Assembly: Construct and install prefabricated masonry units, and lay bricks or other masonry units to build chimneys and fireplaces.
  • Maintenance and Restoration: Restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures to maintain their integrity and appearance.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Setting: You will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires physical stamina, as you will be handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and performing tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in masonry is preferred.
  • Language and Communication: You must be proficient in English or French, and able to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
