About the Position
We are seeking a skilled School Bus Driver to join our team of transportation professionals at First Student Shared Services. As a School Bus Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and safe transportation experience.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
- At least 21 years old.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to undergo and pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination and background checks.
