Tile Setter

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at Sacwal Flooring Centres. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tile, as well as mixing, applying, and spreading mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare surfaces for tile installation
- Mix and apply adhesives
- Set tiles in place and apply pressure
- Align and straighten tiles
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles
- Pack grout into joints and remove excess
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- Ability to distinguish between colours
- Attention to detail
- Hand-eye co-ordination
Our team works in a commercial and residential setting, with a willingness to relocate. The work site environment is dusty, and the job requires physical demands, handling heavy loads, and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
