Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Food Service Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food service department. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing teams, developing strategies, and implementing processes to drive business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational plans to meet business objectives
  • Supervise and mentor a team of food service staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and training to improve team performance
  • Analyze financial data and develop budget forecasts to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry
  • Equivalent experience in a related field may be considered
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field
  • Experience working in a fast-paced food service environment
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques and menu planning
