Job Description

Martineau & Mindicanu is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join our team. As an Immigration Attorney, you will be responsible for advising clients on their legal rights and matters related to immigration law.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on their legal rights and matters related to immigration law
  • Perform administrative functions related to the practice of law
  • Perform management functions related to the practice of law
  • Plead clients' cases before courts of law, tribunals, and boards
  • Draw up legal documents and prepare statements of legal opinion
  • Supervise professional, para-legal, and support staff and articling students
  • Research legal precedents and gather evidence
  • Write and edit for legal publications
Requirements
  • Membership in a provincial or territorial law society
  • MS Excel and MS Word skills
  • Experience in immigration law
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
Work Environment

Martineau & Mindicanu offers a hybrid work environment with a 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be bilingual and have excellent communication skills.
