Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Childcare Program Manager to join our team at Alberta Ltd.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - 80,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our childcare programs and ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement childcare programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children;
  • Supervise and train staff, including early childhood educators and assistants;
  • Lead activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and outings;
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain a safe and healthy environment;
  • Guide children in developing good habits, such as eating, dressing, and toilet training;
  • Monitor children's progress and report any concerns to parents or guardians;
  • Plan and maintain a secure and healthy environment for all children;
  • Organize activities for school-age children before and after regular school hours;
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of other early childhood educators and assistants;
Requirements
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field;
  • Experience working with children aged 0-12 years;
  • Ability to develop and implement high-quality childcare programs;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents;
  • Valid certification in first aid and CPR;
