Medical Laboratory Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will be responsible for performing laboratory work and related duties in the fields of Biochemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Microbiology.
Key Responsibilities- Perform laboratory tests and procedures to analyze patient samples
- Report data obtained to physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Contribute to the development and implementation of laboratory policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Successful completion of an approved course in Medical Technology
- Registration with the British Columbia Society of Laboratory Science (BCSLS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
