We are seeking a skilled Mixology Specialist to join our team at Ventura Room. As a key member of our bar team, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience through expertly crafted cocktails and exceptional service.

Responsibilities:
  • Arrange the bar area to create visually appealing displays
  • Organize the operations of a cocktail lounge or bar, ensuring seamless service and efficient inventory management
  • Clean and maintain the bar area, including washing glassware and storing beverages and food products
  • Provide recommendations on drink selections to enhance the customer experience
  • Collect payment for beverages and record sales
  • Order bar stock and maintain inventory control
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including mixed drinks, wine, draft and bottled beer, and non-alcoholic options
  • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Responsible Beverage Service Certificate and Serving It Right Certificate
  • Excellent oral communication skills and client focus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
