About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Financial Solutions to join our Housing Program Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing, underwriting, and recommending approval of applications for financing under the National Housing Strategy (NHS) and existing CMHC programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, underwrite and recommend applications for contribution and/or loan approval and leverage the various programs offered by CMHC to find the most suitable solution.
  • Review, underwrite and assess affordable, multi-unit housing applications for new construction and repairs.
  • Manage risk by exercising prudence and due diligence while reviewing, assessing, and approving applications.
  • Maintain quality relationships with clients to understand their needs and objectives and explore opportunities.
  • Provide effective and efficient delivery of the National Housing Strategy (NHS) and existing CMHC programs.
  • Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders by offering support, communicating key decisions, interpreting policies and responding to inquiries related to programs.

Requirements

  • An Undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, and/or Commerce.
  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in credit/financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
