Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Retail Sales Manager to join our team at our Royalmount, Mount Royal, Quebec location. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including customer service, sales, inventory management, and staff development. Key Responsibilities

  • Assume leadership and development role, assisting the store manager with day-to-day functions and ensuring effective total store communication, morale awareness, and staff development.
  • Emphasize employee retention and career development, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees, as well as performance reviews, rewards, and discipline.
  • Manage sales team tasks, goals, and performance, including sales team task assignment and goal monitoring, sales performance analysis, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee merchandising, inventory control, shrink and expenses control, and maintenance of total store standards, including identification of price changes/errors and communication to corporate.
  • Participate in opening and closing the store, manage office tasks, funds, and shipments, and monitor sales performance through analysis.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or GED) and degree in Fashion or related field, or equivalent work experience and education.
  • Bilingual English-French language skills.
  • 5 years of experience in high-end retail, boutique, or sales, with proven expertise in retail management, covering P&L, staff supervision, scheduling, training, merchandising, inventory, shrink control, and payroll.
  • Proficient in POS transactions (sales, returns, exchanges, CRM), familiar with UPS System, and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Independent judgment and discretionary powers, strong communication and leadership skills, organized, self-starter with multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
