About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at the Underground Salt Mine in Goderich, Ontario. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of mining infrastructure, including electrical equipment and distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of mining electrical equipment, including reliability improvement and troubleshooting
  • Working on electrical components of various projects as required
  • Maintenance of electrical distribution equipment and troubleshooting of electrical distribution and mining equipment
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining the plant control network
  • Required to work on portable sub-station relocation as well as with HV and MV cable splicing
  • Other duties as required
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, coupled with an Industrial Electrician License (442A) or Construction and Maintenance Electrician (309A)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Experience as an Electrician in the mining industry, or a similar heavy industrial environment
  • Experience on PLC systems
  • Experience on VFD & Electronic Soft Start Systems
  • Experience in Medium and High Voltage Systems
  • Red Seal Certified preferred
