Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage the workload of sales associates, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Hire and Train New Staff: Recruit, interview, and train new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and minimize overtime.
  • Sell Merchandise: Promote and sell Petro Canada's products and services to customers, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data and prepare reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Resolve Customer Issues: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Organize Inventory: Manage and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately counted and stored.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of sales associates, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Regularly review the performance of sales associates, providing feedback and coaching to improve their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
