About the Role

The First Nations Health Authority is seeking a visionary and passionate leader to serve as our Chief Executive Officer. As the CEO, you will be responsible for leading our organization in its mission to improve the health and wellbeing of First Nations communities in BC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the organization
  • Develop and implement policies and programs that promote the health and wellbeing of First Nations communities
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including First Nations leaders, government officials, and healthcare providers
  • Oversee the development and implementation of our organizational culture, built on transparency, trust, gratitude, and consultation
  • Ensure the organization is financially sustainable and meets its obligations to stakeholders
Requirements
  • Proven track record of successful senior leadership experience, preferably in a similar sized organization supporting a complex public sector organization or with a First Nations organization
  • Expertise in non-profit management and knowledge of healthcare developments, transformation, and First Nations perspectives on culturally safe care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and credibility both externally and internally
  • Knowledge of healthcare issues and health service delivery, especially public health and First Nations health and wellbeing practices
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $280,000 to $350,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
