Job Title: Chief Executive Officer

The First Nations Health Authority is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Executive Officer to lead our organization in delivering high-quality healthcare services to First Nations communities in British Columbia.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of senior leadership experience, preferably in a similar-sized organization supporting a complex public sector organization or with a First Nations organization. They will have expertise in non-profit management and knowledge of healthcare developments, transformation, and First Nations perspectives on culturally safe care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the organization in delivering high-quality healthcare services to First Nations communities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve healthcare outcomes for First Nations people
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including First Nations communities, healthcare providers, and government agencies
  • Provide leadership and direction to the organization's senior management team
  • Ensure the organization's financial sustainability and stability
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as healthcare administration or business administration
  • Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience in a healthcare organization
  • Proven track record of success in leading complex healthcare organizations
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare policy and legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
