We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Sultana Market. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meats to meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
- Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
- Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Weigh meats for sale
- Cut poultry into parts
- Grind meats
- Prepare special orders
- Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
- Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience an asset
This is a fast-paced environment that requires standing for extended periods and physical demands. You must be able to work under pressure and be a team player.
LanguageThe primary language of work is English.
Work ScheduleThis is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek.
