About the Role:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and effective care to patients in various settings, including home care and lodge facilities. Your expertise will be essential in assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to promote optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to CLPNA nursing practices and AHS policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
