About the Role:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering safe and effective care to patients in a variety of settings, including home care and lodge settings. You will work closely with an interprofessional team to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with CLPNA nursing practices and AHS policies and procedures.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional team to implement care plans and achieve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in home care or lodge settings.
  • Knowledge of CLPNA nursing practices and AHS policies and procedures.
