At Macdonald, Dettwiler And Associates Corporation, we're pushing the boundaries of what's possible in space exploration and communication. As a Digital Payload System Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing cutting-edge digital payload systems for our satellite systems team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement digital payload systems and subsystems for our satellite systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test digital payload systems
  • Perform requirement analysis and system trade studies to optimize digital payload performance
  • Generate and supervise methods, standards, plans, and procedures for systems engineering tools and systems tests

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in digital equipment and signal processing
  • Knowledge of RF and system payload
  • Excellent communication, technical writing, and oral presentation skills
  • English required, French fluency an asset

Security Clearance: Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
