Join Our Team as a Digital Payload System Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Payload System Engineer to join our Satellite Systems team at our Montreal office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing end-to-end communication digital payload systems and/or subsystem elements related to the system architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and analysis of digital payload systems and subsystems
  • Implementation and optimization of end-to-end communication digital payload systems
  • Support and lead technical projects and end-to-end telecommunications systems engineering activities
  • Design of communication satellite payloads from conventional RF bent pipe payloads to digital on-board processing payloads
  • Generation and supervision of methods, standards, plans, and procedures for systems engineering tools and systems tests for payload with digital channel processing
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital equipment and signal processing
  • Knowledge of RF and system payload
  • Demonstrated experience in leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams
  • Excellent communication, technical writing, and oral presentation skills
  • English required, French fluency would be an asset
  • Strong analytic, technical, and problem-solving skills
  • Canadian citizen or permanent resident preferred
