About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Lawyer to join our team at the OSCO Construction Group. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our various lines of business and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, edit, and manage Non-Disclosure Agreements;
  • Assist in contractual review of construction contracts;
  • Participate in contractual negotiations;
  • Manage litigation files;
  • Review and edit credit applications;
  • Conduct case law and legislation research as required;
  • Manage contractual deadlines and notice requirements;
  • Coordinate with outside counsel through the General Counsel;
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment;
  • Ability to manage high volume of workload;
  • Negotiate with customers and vendors;
Requirements
  • LLB or J.D. and/or Accreditation from Federation of Law Societies (if applicable);
  • 1-5 years of experience in any area of Law;
  • All licensing fees and CPD requirements will be paid by OSCO;
  • Candidates with 2 to 5 years of experience will be considered ideal;
