Livestock Handler

Ferme D.D. Gascon & Fils Inc is seeking a reliable and physically demanding Livestock Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our farm operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of our livestock.

• Disinfect pens, barns, and poultry houses to maintain a clean and healthy environment for our animals.
• Handle and care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring their health.
• Mark livestock as proof of ownership and supervise milking operations to ensure work is done correctly.
• Treat livestock health issues and perform general farm duties as needed.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, farm trucks, and forklifts.
• Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens to maintain a safe and healthy environment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically demanding role requiring the ability to handle heavy loads and work in all weather conditions.
• Organized and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Quick learner with a willingness to take on new tasks and responsibilities.

Ferme D.D. Gascon & Fils Inc is a rural farm operation located in a picturesque area. The successful candidate will be working outdoors in a fast-paced environment with a large workload.

English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
