Plastering Specialist

Job Title: Plasterer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled plasterer to join our team at Top Dog Plastering & Painting Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying successive coats of compound, sanding seams and joints, and smoothing out coats of plaster.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply coat after coat of compound and sand seams and joints with precision
• Clean and prepare surfaces for a seamless finish
• Cure freshly plastered surfaces with care
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
• Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required
• Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
• Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim

Requirements

• At least some experience is an asset
• Ability to work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages
• Physical stamina to handle heavy loads
• Bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods

Additional Information

• Security and safety clearance is required
• A criminal record check will be conducted
• A valid driver's license is an asset
