Job Description:

Top Dog Plastering & Painting Ltd. is seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying successive coats of compound, sanding seams and joints, and finishing corners and angles. If required, you will create decorative designs in the finish coat.

• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
• Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster
• Clean and prepare surfaces
• Cure freshly plastered surfaces
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
• Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required
• Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
• Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim
• Smooth out excess compound and allow the coat to dry
• Install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be applied
• Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages
• Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
