We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician I to join our UniFirst team. As a key member of our Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including washers, dryers, pneumatic and steam systems, convey systems, and boilers.
  • Conduct daily and weekly safety checks on boilers and perform necessary repairs.
  • Utilize hand/power tools, precision measurement tools, and electronic testing devices to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Follow blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, and engineering specifications to ensure accurate and efficient maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to respond to emergency alarms and perform repairs.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year technical degree preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age and valid non-commercial driver's license.
  • Knowledgeable in maintenance equipment and industrial processes.
  • Minimum of 6 months' work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics, as well as basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
