Water Truck Driver (Remote Camp)

**Duties**:

- Safely and efficiently operate a Water Truck to build the Ice road between Tibbit and the NWT Diamond Mines
- Load and unload water on portages to build the land based section of the road.
- Work at cold temperatures.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Complete required paperwork, such as time sheets and inspection reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, supervisors and other team members.

**Requirements**:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements(Class 3 with Air).
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in commercial driving.
- Basic automotive repair skills for minor maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work for 6 weeks in a remote camp
- Must Pass Criminal records Check

**Skills**:

- Ability to use Electric Ice Augers ( Will teach as needed)
- Ability to work alone as well as part of a team
- Automotive troubleshooting
- Experience with Water Trucks or similar( Vac Truck, Vactor Truck or Tandem Class 3)

**Job Type**: Seasonal

**Salary**: $30.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 84 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
