About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at 555 Wireless Ltd. as a Purchaser.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing and Procurement
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
    • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms.
    • Manage the procurement process from initial request to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supply Chain Management
    • Assess the requirements of our organization to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable and reliable supply chain.
    • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and train a team of 5-10 people to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they are meeting their performance goals.
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including management and colleagues, to ensure that procurement needs are met.
    • Provide excellent customer service to internal customers, ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role.
  • Language
    • Fluent in English.
  • Work Hours
    • 30 to 40 hours per week.
