Procurement Specialist Job Description

Destinationone Consulting is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying suppliers, negotiating terms, and managing procurement activities to ensure the smooth flow of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to meet the company's procurement needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and prices.
  • Manage procurement activities, including creating purchase orders, tracking inventory, and analyzing invoices.
  • Collaborate with the projects team to understand procurement requirements and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a positive and productive partnership.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in a related field, such as Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
  • Proven experience in procurement, with a strong understanding of procurement practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
