We are a reputable company seeking an experienced Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial record keeping and be able to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various bookkeeping tasks, including calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, and preparing tax returns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing a clear picture of the company's financial situation.
  • Prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Perform other bookkeeping tasks as required, such as posting journal entries and preparing trial balances.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field is preferred.
