Job Summary:

Techmation Electric & Controls is seeking a skilled Power Generation Operator to join our team. As a Power Generation Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining power generation equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain power generation equipment, including gas driven power generation units.
  • Monitor and control power generation output to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure safe and efficient operation of the power generation unit.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • 3rd or 4th Class Power Engineering ticket.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Oil & Gas plant facilities.
  • Previous experience in Ifpexol refrigeration, Sulphinol sweetening, acid gas injection, condensate stabilization, and gas driven power generation is an asset.
  • Current Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive, and CSO certificates.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work alone and complete routine tasks.
