Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Integrated Power Services. As a key member of our power generation solutions team, you will be responsible for performing service, diagnostic, repair, and preventive maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform service, diagnostic, repair, and preventive maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment
  • Inspect and test various equipment, including motors, generators, and other power generation systems
  • Install and remove AC and DC electric motors, laser align equipment, and perform precision measurements
  • Clean and maintain electro-mechanical equipment using specialized techniques and tools
  • Ensure a professional environment and provide excellent customer service
  • Complete assigned work in compliance with operating policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience as a Millwright with AC/DC motor experience
  • PdMA testing experience preferred
  • Level 2 Vibration Analysis preferred
  • Proficient at alignments and on-site balancing
  • Proficient at sleeve bearing seating and inspection
  • Bentley system experience considered a plus
  • Proxy probe installation experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and apply analytical problem-solving dynamics
  • Strong customer focus and professional communication skills
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to travel locally and overnight
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods
  • Ability to perform manual labor for up to 12 or more hours per day
  • Acute hearing and strong field of vision
  • Ability to work in demanding physical and inclement weather conditions
