The University of Regina is seeking a highly skilled Campus Planner to join our team. As a key member of our planning department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the physical campus environment and optimizing space usage.
Key Responsibilities:- Integrated Planning: Develop and implement integrated planning strategies that align with the university's strategic objectives.
- Space Optimization: Provide expert advice on space planning and management to optimize current usage and forecast future requirements.
- Master Planning: Participate in campus master planning activities to envision and articulate future campus growth and development.
- Data Insights: Analyze and interpret data to inform programming, infrastructure budgets, and academic program decisions.
- Database Management: Manage and maintain the university's space database, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with university stakeholders and interest groups on matters related to campus planning.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively with the planning department and facilities management team on project work.
- Strategic Consultation: Consult with senior university personnel, external agencies, and professional consultants on campus planning matters.
- Education: Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Environmental Design, or Bachelor of Interior Design degree, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in a professional planning office or university facilities management environment.
- Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work independently, high-level vision, and detail-oriented.
