Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at the Government of Canada - Central. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities, prepare production and other reports, and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and building codes.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise workers and projects, lead and instruct individuals, and recommend personnel actions.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Communication: Excellent oral communication skills are required to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Organizational Skills: Organized and reliable, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a construction supervisory role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent oral communication, organized, reliable, and team player.

Working Conditions

  • On-site work only, with no option to work remotely.
  • Work setting: Fabrication, Installation, Commercial, and Residential.
