Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at AZ Towing. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of vehicles, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
  • Payment and Receipt: Process payments for goods and receive payments from customers.
  • Emergency Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs to ensure minimal downtime and maintain vehicle safety.
  • Inspections: Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.

  • Overtime Required: Be prepared to work overtime as required to meet business demands.
  • Sitting: Spend extended periods sitting while driving or performing tasks.
