About the Role

ARC Resources Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Finance Analyst to join our Treasury department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in maintaining our financial model, creating financial forecasts, and conducting corporate financial analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain ARC's financial model, ensuring accuracy and reliability of financial data.
  • Create weekly forecast tables and analysis for the weekly management meeting, providing insightful financial insights to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare various financial forecasts for budgets, long-term plans, and analyses that support corporate financial decisions, leveraging your analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Conduct corporate benchmarking and peer analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial performance.
  • Assist with preparing information for various presentations to the Board, rating agencies, and banks, showcasing your excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prepare debt covenant calculations and related documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and review information as required for financial reporting, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist with fundamental research and analysis to inform investment decisions and drive business growth.
  • Lead or assist other finance-related projects as required, demonstrating your ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
  • CFA designation or currently pursuing CFA would be desirable.
  • Prior corporate banking, investment banking, or equity research experience is a definite asset.
  • Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, conducting research, and financial analysis.
  • Confident with Excel and proven analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work within tight deadlines.
