Job Title: Credit and Collection Clerk

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Credit and Collection Clerk to join our team at A&M Canadian Immigration Law Corporation.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for tracing and locating debtors, notifying them of overdue accounts and payments, and visiting them to collect amounts due or make payment arrangements. They will also recommend legal action or discontinuation of service, store, update, and retrieve financial data, answer clients' inquiries, and work with online accounts and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Trace and locate debtors to collect outstanding payments
  • Notify debtors of overdue accounts and payments, and follow up to ensure prompt payment
  • Visit debtors to collect amounts due or make payment arrangements
  • Recommend legal action or discontinuation of service as necessary
  • Store, update, and retrieve financial data to ensure accurate records
  • Answer clients' inquiries and provide information on their accounts
  • Work with online accounts and systems to manage client data and payments
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date work records and logs
  • Perform general office duties as required
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in a similar role
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Access
