Avocat en Litige d'Assurance et de Réassurance

À propos du poste :

Nous recherchons un avocat expérimenté pour rejoindre notre équipe de litige des assurances en pleine croissance. Vous serez chargé de fournir des analyses et des conseils juridiques dans le cadre de litiges, en mettant l'accent sur les lignes d'assurance spécialisées, les réclamations pour négligence professionnelle, les litiges entre professionnels de la construction et d'autres secteurs.

Responsabilités :

  • Fournir des analyses et des conseils juridiques dans le cadre de litiges.
  • Analyser les questions juridiques et factuelles et conseiller les clients.
  • Assister et participer aux interrogatoires dans le cadre de la procédure d'enquête.
  • Préparer la correspondance destinée aux avocats et aux clients.
  • Travailler et encadrer les avocats juniors.
  • Entretenir des relations avec les assureurs et les assurés.
  • Comparaître devant le tribunal, seul ou avec des partenaires, pour plaider des requêtes, assister aux phases préliminaires du procès, au procès et à des médiations.

Qualifications :

  • Formation en common law.
  • Membre du Barreau de l'Ontario ou de tout autre Barreau canadien.
  • Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience en assurance et en litige.
  • Excellente maîtrise de l'anglais tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit.
  • Excellentes capacités d'analyse et de synthèse.
