Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and ensuring the smooth running of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance
  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee the sales floor
  • Manage inventory and merchandise, including ordering and authorizing returns
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including stockroom and visual merchandising
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of workers, including payroll administration and performance reviews

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Working Conditions:

  • 32 to 40 hours per week
  • English language required
