Job Title: Full-Time Community Consultant

At Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, we're building a relationship-oriented bank for the modern world. As a Full-Time Community Consultant, you'll play a key role in ensuring the highest quality of our systems and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the investigation and translation of business requirements into test cases.
  • Design and manage end-to-end testing activities for various projects across the business.
  • Use your expertise in software development testing to provide clients with quality products that meet business and system requirements.
  • Provide advice to your team, including ongoing feedback, support, and mentorship.
  • Proactively identify any potential issues throughout all test phases, and suggest possible improvements or enhancements.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in Application/Software design, engineering, testing, and development with a solid understanding of design patterns and principles.
  • Strong knowledge of data-centric applications, Data Warehousing, Data Marts, and traditional Extract, Transform, & Load (ETL) systems and tools.
  • Experience with git and modern branching/merging strategies and development methodologies, including DevOps, CI/CD, automated unit testing, static code analysis, Sonar Cube.
  • Knowledge of Azure, Oracle PL/SQL, UNIX shell scripting & Python, Scala, Java, Azure DevOps, etc.
