Cafeteria Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cafeteria Supervisor to join our team at Powder King Mountain Resort Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff in the cafeteria, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and establish work schedules.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to food safety regulations and protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Food Safety Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Work Setting:

The Cafeteria Supervisor will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring the highest quality food and service.

Supervision:

The Cafeteria Supervisor will supervise 3-4 staff members and will be responsible for their training, development, and performance management.

Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses:
  • Food Safety Certificate.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
