Job Summary

Lakeside Process Controls Ltd. is a leading provider of automation solutions to various industries. We are seeking a skilled Combustion Services Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site services, including configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment.
  • Perform maintenance contract work and ensure timely resolution of customer concerns.
  • Consult technical documentation, such as schematics and manuals, to resolve complex issues.
  • Install, configure, calibrate, and maintain control, measurement, and indicating instrumentation.
  • Calibrate components and systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Actively work towards obtaining a G1 Gas Technician license to support industrial boiler and burner applications.
  • Maintain sound working relationships with customers and their personnel.
  • Provide premier customer service and promote a team approach within Lakeside.
Requirements
  • Must be a qualified journeyperson or possess an Instrumentation Engineering Technologist Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum three years' prior experience in a related field.
  • Strong customer service skills and advanced troubleshooting abilities.
  • Intermediate understanding and implementation of CSA B149 Code.
  • Able to climb ladders/stairs and work at heights.
  • Configuration and troubleshooting knowledge of various Burner Management Systems and Controls.
  • Knowledge of measurement devices, electronics, and basic electrical requirements.
  • Ability to make recommendations and combustion curve changes based on portable gas analyzer data.
  • Knowledge of process control and strong ability to troubleshoot problems.
