About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pur & Simple - Kingsway. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless service delivery and high-quality food preparation.

Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff

Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional customer service.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.

Inventory Management and Quality Control

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring accurate inventory management and maintaining high-quality food and service standards.

Customer Service and Conflict Resolution

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.

Administrative and Reporting Tasks

Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be able to maintain a high level of physical activity throughout their shift.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.

Language and Communication

Fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule and Benefits

32 to 35 hours per week, with a competitive salary and benefits package, including a bonus.
